Customers

As Product Director for National World, our customers were a mix of internal staff (journalists, editors, data teams, marketers, sales teams and management), partners (advertising vendors), advertising customers (direct sold inventory) and reader customers (commenting, newsletters and subscribers to our websites, apps and digital publications).

As Head of Development at MNA Digital, our customers were a mix of internal staff (for our in-house workflow software), agency customers (for marketing services) and other businesses to whom we licensed our software. We did not get the opportunity to interact directly with the customers of our customers often, and I see that as a largely untapped opportunity.

As Head of Product and project management at The Claverley Group our customers were a mix of internal staff (circulation software, data analysis, journalists, editors, marketers, sales teams and management).
